I have also recently added the current month's show schedule to this page and a page featuring  an ever expanding list of  songs that I perform at my show to give you an idea of what you can expect to hear or to give you ideas of what to request if you should attend.

January is in the rear view mirror already and the year is off and running.  I want to invite you all out to the Roadhouse for a very special (and chocolaty) Valentines day celebration.  It will be a benefit for the St. Francis Camp for disabled children.  The upcoming seasons schedule is beginning take shape so check back here for frequent updates. 

 I have a lot of exciting projects in the works that I think you will find very interesting and entertaining.  I am planning revamp my mailing list and send out regular newsletters and updates of where I will be and what I will be up to along with many other surprises so if you are not on my mailing list yet and would like to be just shoot me a short e-mail at berkemeiers@mail.com and I will be sure to keep you in the loop.

I recently sat down with Jackson Citizen Patriot entertainment writer Bill Chapin to record a pod-cast for their web page.  Talking music with Bill was a lot of fun and I think he did a good job of putting together a few of the best parts and captured the story behind and a live recording of "The Seventh Son".  For some reason I couldn't get a link to it to work but you can go to the Mlive page for Jackson entertainment or cut and paste this address to your browser  to give it a listen.

Congratulations Cascarelli's!!!

 

Congratulations to Jim Cascarelli and his entire family and staff as they celebrate 100 years in business.  I have had the good fortune to play at many area establishments and can tell you that there is no one nicer and more fun to work with than Jim.  I have been lucky to work with him since my very early days as a solo artist.  Getting to know Jim, Nancy, Dana Erin and Matt has been one of the true unexpected treasures that my music has given me.  If you know the Cascarellis than you know what I am talking about.  If you don't, do yourself a favor and pay them a visit for great food and out of this world hospitality.  Congratulations Cascarellis on your first 100 years and many happy returns.  Be sure to check out some of the fine coverage of their 100th anniversary celebration in The Battle Creek Enquirer (be sure to watch the cool video), and the The Jackson Citizen Patriot .
